Rengo Packaging Opens New Facility in Kapolei, HI

New Corrugated Manufacturing Facility Now Operating

(Honolulu, HI USA July 1, 2014) – Rengo Packaging Inc., the leading supplier of corrugated and packaging materials in Hawaii, announced the completion of their new production facility and the start-up of the operation to manufacture corrugated products for the State of Hawaii.

The new facility is a 160,000 sq. ft. concrete tilt-up building on 8.5 acres of land located in Kapolei, Hawaii.  The operation includes State-of-the-art equipment purchased for the purpose of fulfilling Hawaii’s specific corrugated packaging needs.

Equipment highlights include:  BHS Corrugator, Apstar Rotary Die-Cutter, Minerva Flexo Folder-Gluer, Post Folder-Gluer, Bobst Platen Die-Cutter, Slitter, Taper and other miscellaneous equipment used in the process to manufacture corrugated products.

Other unique features of the operation include a Water Treatment System, Ink Kitchen System, Baler Recycle System, Starch Plant System, Pallet Insertion System and a Cad Design Laser Sample Cutting System.
